Email is the most reliable for of contact. Furnished / 1 Bedroom room (in-law) apartment / four rooms in total / private deck / very clean and quiet / 15 min. to UConn 25 min. to Hartford. Utilities are $200.00 per month, because there is no separate... meter and it is electric heat. That includes sewer, trash removal, everything. There is no smoking. Small animals allowed. The last month rent is due at signing, which is in addition to the security. The lease is for one year, two, or three years. There is a driveway for a car.

The house is 1.5 miles from the highway, which is down a one-mile-long hill, so you can barely hear it. Walking and hiking trails nearby. 15 min. ride to UConn and 20 min. ride to Hartford. There are two available parking spots in the private driveway.

There is a private walkway from the driveway to the in-law apartment. The backyard is around .75 acres. The in-law apartment was built in 2007 and is fully furnished. It has all wood floors, except in the bathroom and kitchen. There is a very conveniently placed washer and dryer in the apartment. It is stacked and in a big closet in the bathroom.

This is a very quiet household, in a family neighborhood, where you can literally hear crickets. It is ideal for a serious graduate student or professional person. I have no television. Although, high speed internet is included. There is a hypoallergenic dog on the property in the main house. His name Charlie, 25 pounds and loves everybody. He loves children and carrots the most.

There is a mandatory background check which will cost the perspective tenant $40.00. There may be renters default insurance which (as I remember) is $16.00 a month. There is around one car every 1/2 hour on the street. There are houses all around, which is good for safety. The last crime in this neighborhood was probably a teenager getting stoned in his parents' basement in the 1980s. The neighbors are friendly, even by New England standards.

Neighborhood

"Mansfield/Tolland/Willington is a peaceful suburban area about 25 miles east of Hartford. Easy access to the state's capital and other areas via the roads that run parallel through the neighborhood, Interstate 84, Highway 44, and Highway 6, make Mansfield-Tolland-Willington a perfect spot for commuters and families looking to settle down. The community is also ideal for students as the University of Connecticut is located towards the center of town.

Casual restaurants near campus and throughout town provide residents with a variety of dining options while large shopping centers and malls allow for easy access to necessities. Picturesque parks including Crandall Park, Moss Tract, and Schoolhouse Brook Park give residents access to the outdoors no matter where they are in town. Along with great amenities and recreation opportunities, Mansfield-Tolland-Willington offers renters a variety of apartments, condos, and townhomes in affordable prices and modern styles to choose from."
