1900 Queen Ann single family home with inlaid hardwood floors, stained glass, leaded glass & carved wood details. We have done our best to make this a place to feel safe, comfortable & secure; a place you can call a home away from home.
We... have been renting rooms, mostly to International Law Students, for about 25 years and have recently had a successful UConn Med experience. There are 3 bedrooms to rent on the 2nd floor (2 of which is already filled) with a shared full bath. There is a WC on the 1st floor as well.
PLEASE NOTE: Prefer 3 women ... It just seems to work best for us.
However, that said, we are open to expanded identities while making certain all feel safe & comfortable.
We have set up each room to make it as home-like as possible so that you just need your cloths, personal items, phone & laptop.
Each room is fully furnished with a double bed, desk & chair, an easy or rocking chair, bureau, good lighting and large closet. We supply everything you need for daily life; sheets, blankets, pillows, towels and laundry basket.
The rent includes ALL utilities, wifi, kitchen & laundry privileges.
There are NO hidden costs. BUT:
Due to allergies to fragrances, you may not use perfumes, cologne or scented candles. On the upside, we supply fragrance-free laundry products in the laundry.
There is no smoking in the house, but the 2 porches are comfortable spots for that.
We have been happy that our renters feel comfortable inviting new friends to socialize.
