Home at NW edge of Willimantic, 15 mins from campus
We have one bedroom available starting January 1st that we are looking to rent out here in the NW corner of Willimantic. It's a quick 10-15 min drive to campus from here at the edge of town. We are hoping to lease for a year but can be flexible for... the right person. We are currently two male grad students (he and I are both PhDs) at UConn and would prefer a grad student or mature undergrad to join us. Because there are two of us already here, we are looking for just one roommate at this time. One roommate is gone for the entire summer each year as well. The home has 3 bedrooms total, 2.5 bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry, wood flooring throughout, oil heating, air conditioners, a driveway, and a deck with a fenced-in backyard. I have a 5 yr old yellow labrador who is very friendly and loves people. We are open to another dog here as well. There is a ton of storage available both inside the house as well as in a storage shed. We currently split rent as $700 per person and then we split the utilities which include wifi, electricity, garbage, water, and then oil for heating in the winter months mostly. Throughout most of the year, utilities don't run over $100/person/month but can be a bit higher in winter because of heating. If you have any questions at all, feel free to reach out. If you see this posting, that means we are still looking for a good fit. Ideally, we are hoping to fill the room by the beginning of January. When reaching out, please tell us a bit about yourself and the more information the better!
