Seeking a housemate for shared house in a friendly neighborhood on Fairview St., Willimantic: A comfy, welcoming old style house with solar panels located in quiet neighborhood south of the Frog Bridge. Large yard with room for adding gardens.... Beautiful hardwood floors. We share 2 living rooms and a large eat-in kitchen with all the pots, pans, dishes, etc. We also have a large deck, a fire pit, and a sweet (hypoallergenic) puppy, and we’d consider a housemate with a friendly, well-behaved non-shedding dog (allergies☹) The available room has a sunny southern exposure, and some furniture available for use or to be removed as you wish. $700/month includes heat & all utilities including high speed cable wifi. Off-street parking in the driveway. Easy walking distance to bus, Jillson Square with the Shaboo Stage, Windham Rec. Center, Willimantic Food Co-op and downtown. No tobacco. Current housemates don’t drink at home. We all share snow removal (w/snow blower) and household chores - we rotate responsibilities but mostly clean up after ourselves. We're quiet, friendly, interested, considerate; 2 housemates identify as female & 1 as non-binary. All gender- and people-group identities are welcome. We compost and recycle. We have a washer & dryer and 1.5 baths. You can use the canoe and keep your bike in the garage. Come visit, look around, no pressure. Near the baseball fields that are near the Frog Bridge.
