Seeking a housemate for shared house in a friendly neighborhood on Fairview St., Willimantic: A comfy, welcoming old house with solar panels located in quiet neighborhood south of the Frog Bridge. Large yard with room for additional gardens.... Beautiful hardwood floors. We share 2 living rooms and a large eat-in kitchen with all the pots, pans, dishes, etc. We also have a large deck, a fire pit, and a sweet (hypoallergenic) puppy, and we’d consider a housemate with a friendly, well-behaved non-shedding dog (allergies☹) The available room has a sunny southern exposure, and some furniture available for use or to be removed as you wish. $650/month includes heat & all utilities including high speed cable wifi. Off-street parking in the driveway. Easy walking distance to bus, Jillson Square with the Shaboo Stage, Windham Rec. Center, Willimantic Food Co-op and downtown. No tobacco. Current housemates don’t drink at home. We all share snow removal (snow blower) and household chores - we rotate responsibilities but mostly clean up after ourselves. We're quiet, friendly, interested, considerate; 2 women & 1 man. All gender- and people-group identities are welcome. We compost and recycle. We have a washer & dryer and 1.5 baths.
