Quiet and peaceful house in the woods. Close to Uconn and Eastern Connecticut University. For professionals only. No students. No smoking. Fully furnished. All our furniture, towels, bed linens, board games, tools, dishes and pots and pans will be... available to you. Dates of availability include the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning on August 24, 2026 and ending in June of 2027. 10 Month lease with no option to continue.
If you have children, this house has the best school district: Southeast Elementary School, Mansfield Middle School and E.O. Smith High School. The school bus picks up and drops off at your own driveway.
The ground floor has the kitchen, family room, and dining room. It opens to the deck and BBQ. It is also the location of the half bath.
Upstairs has three sunny bedrooms and two bathrooms with combination shower and bathtub. The master bedroom is large with high ceilings and two closets. One closet has blankets and bedding. Another bedroom, (light blue room) has a queen bed and desk and dresser. The third bedroom (gold) has a full/double bed. (We will use the room above the garage to store our personal clothes and clutter in order to clear dresser and closet space for you. This room above the garage will not be available and is not included in the square footage.)
A partially finished basement has the laundry and an additional room but is not heated.

We will consider a well-behaved dog and there is easy access to many hiking trails. The yard is not fenced but well off the road. Absolutely no cats allowed anywhere on the property due to allergies of family members. An agreement of the importance of the no cats policy will be part of the rental contract. Solar provides the basis for the electric heat pump, but any excess electric will be charged to the renter. The renter will also be responsible for oil refill during the stay and at the end of the rental period.
