Red tail creates the flats as a great place to live I give a lot of credit to the great job red tail management does on the flats at Talcott where I live. The community room is a great place to meet neighbors and connect with people that are in our community.

Excellent The Flats at Talcott is amazing!
I have had a positive experience with the office staff. The maintenance team is top notch!
The location is convenient to shopping and many hiking trails.

Put In Emergency Request But No One Ever Came To Fix, Greedy Owners The apartments haven't been updated and are still nearly 50 years old on the inside. Walls have holes, multiple patching places, AC units older than I am, and holes in the carpets. Ants and flies are rampant.
The owners also do not care about anything other than making superficial changes and then saying things like repainting the buildings is justification for for what is now nearly a 75% increase in rent from when I first... moved in. Disgusting practice, cannot recommend. I am personally currently looking for a condo, a mortgage would cost the same as the rent here.
They also do not care about providing prompt service or safety concerns. I am allergic to bees/wasps, had a nest starting at my AC unit. I placed an emergency service request and no one ever came to assist, I ended up having to get assistance from another resident with removing it.

Office is very responsive and frequently send emails, maintenance crew is responsive. Good price given the area.
